Location: Wisconsin (Travel Required)
Pay: $65.00–$70.00 per hour

Earn $65–$70 per hour as a traveling Interim Director of Nursing (DON) / Director of Health Services (DHS), providing experienced clinical leadership to skilled nursing and assisted living communities throughout Wisconsin.
Senior Care Solutions partners with communities during leadership transitions, staffing gaps, and organizational change. As an interim leader, you'll step into a community, stabilize clinical operations, support staff, and leave the team stronger than you found it. We are actively building our bench of experienced interim leaders for upcoming projects across Wisconsin.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the Interim DON or DHS for skilled nursing and assisted living communities.
- Lead day-to-day clinical operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and support nursing teams through leadership transitions.
- Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to maintain exceptional resident care.
- Assess clinical operations and implement improvements quickly.
- Complete required clinical documentation and state reporting.
What You'll Need
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing leadership experience as a DON, ADON, or in an equivalent leadership role within skilled nursing and/or assisted living.
- Working knowledge of Wisconsin long-term care regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous interim leadership experience.
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid survey readiness.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new communities and lead through change.
Compensation
$65.00–$70.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Benefits
This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is not benefit eligible.

- Travel to assigned skilled nursing and assisted living communities throughout Wisconsin is required for the duration of each interim assignment.
